But every time I am!

We are having the same problem with couples

I'm always left surprised and wondering why we bother being honest.

Think we'll just attend socials for now

As a couple we hetvlots of messages. But when I look on other sites to play alone (Mrs trying but we both play separately) I’ve had over 60 ghosts, drop outs and cancellations this year. 3 times more than meets.

It knocks my confidence a little more each time but I don’t give up. I’ve met some amazing guys so I’ll keep trying.

Just don’t give up.

In a funny kind of roundabout way your surprise does you credit because it shows you like to think the best of people and/or hope that they're going to treat you with the same consideration and honesty you show them. So of course when that turns out not to be the case you're going to feel sad ... at your judgement being out, at your time being wasted, at being taken for a fool

I'm afraid I'm quite cynical on here. It takes a lot for someone to convince me they're genuinely interested and I stay rather guarded until they do. I don't like being suspicious and appreciate that might be insulting to genuine people so it's a fine line to tread. Ultimately though you do have to try and protect yourself from the BS

Out of the sexes i thought men were supposed to be the more straight forward, least game playing types. But no. Some (not all!!) can give some (not all!!) women a run for their money.

That's you. There are some people on here that to enjoy their way of having sex, requires a lot of trust. It can feel quite bad when that trust was misplaced or you feel duped.

Myself, like you might be able to shake it off (I've been taught a lesson or two on here) but I do get why people get pissed off.

Yes i get that. We're all different and we're only human. The emotional fine line between NSA and getting to know someone. Made all that more difficult by being single and open to a relationship.

I was just curious as to whether this is a developed friendship/relationship or just a profile the lady has been chatting to.
