As the previous owner of a larger nose, I know first hand people are wankers about big noses

Maybe it comes from the playground. I probably called other kids big nose/big ears etc in primary school just because it made someone stand out from the crowd, you know, all the average looking people. . We're all different. I remember when I kid pointed out 'I talk through the side of mouth' it's always stuck with me, kids are cruel, some of those kids grow up and are assholes and still try to be cruel. Just ignore the playground talk. The adults are in the staff room running the shit.

Probably the enforced notion of beauty.

An ex of mine has a thing for big noses. When I found out about it, I got quite self conscious about my nose. So, some people have a fetish for big noses
