I'm currently laid back with one of those gold collagen masks on...

I'm at a friend's place for the night and she whipped them out for us to try! Supposed to be hydrating and anti aging. It's an odd slippery, rubbery sheet mask, gold and covered in good. Smells nice and to be honest feels really good!

It's got to stay on for half hour...which so far is fine by me!

It's ranking about a 5 on my strange-o-meter...

What unusual things have you done in the name of beauty?

Bristol

I had my face contoured at a makeup counter once. It was more to please my mum and her idea of beauty; I looked like an airbrushed tanned version of me and felt weird until I got home and washed my face.

Personally speaking I made bread that wasn't bread at the weekend in my continuing quest to stop being a podger if that counts as weird. And previously made a pizza out of cauliflower.

Speaking ad a makeup artist, it sounds like they overdid it!

What was it that stopped it being bread?

From your pics I'd say you're already far from being a podger! You have a beautiful figure!

Why thank you. I know my cropping and angles though, I promise you! It was pretty much just egg and cream cheese. But bread-like enough I could toast it the next day like a bap. Witchcraft!

I was all geared up to try the foot things...should I not bother?

Majority of the charcoal masks are shite...but I did try one, was about 15 quid from Japan and it was fucking immense! My skin has never been so good! I just can't find the same product again now!

They are disgusting lol.

It isn't bad I don't think and gives a lot better shape than waxing.

Getting my jawline threaded was soooo painful!

Them weird nose strips where you can see the blackheads pull out are just but satisfying at the same time

A cauliflower pizza sounds intriguing

As you can see, not alot of beautifying goes on here, I wash my face with shower gel n use the moisuriser I have for my eczema when I remember. Tried threading of my excess facial hair or my pcos beard if you like, once was enough! Had my nails done a few times as my cousin does them n persuaded me for my brothers wedding, infills were horrific so that was that. Oh and my other cousin tried the whole contouring thing on me, had to wash my face before we went out, looked like a complete twat! Mascara and occasional eyeshadow is as far as I go in the name of beauty, I don't care enough to do much more!

Made videos!

My GBF sells those masks amongst other things.

I get to test & review all his products, before he puts them out for public sale.

My black tar face peel mask was hysterical.

He also owes me a new mattress after testing out a new spray tan lotion, it 'sweated off' in my sleep leaving very dodgy looking stains on my bed!

I've just read the stocking thread ... now face masks....

Sometimes it's good to be a guy...

2 of sand and one of cement fills the cracks in my face in for weeks
