With all the Christmas parties starting now, and especially for anyone here that's going to one. What's the expectations, what are you defiantly going to see, and what will you possibly regret after the night before.

I'm not going to one, my boss is a tight ass!

but I was always spot on predicting who'd be sucking up to the boss whenever I did go to Xmas do.

If it's anything like last years I'll wake up the next morning wondering how I got home, why I have mud down my trousers, coat and laptop bag and then slowly over the course of the day will remember drinking far too many Long Island Iced Teas than was good for me - being refused any more alcohol by the bar staff and refused entry to the bar, followed by being escorted to the train by a colleague and then taking over an hour to walk the walk home that normally takes me 20 minutes and finally remember falling over several times on said walk (hence the mud) - I will then be told that I was far too noisy when I got in and remember falling over into the bath!!

Not my finest hour!!

Just a meal out with the team this year but the afternoon off so every cloud ..

I never go to them becauase they bore me. The venues are usually crap places that cost a fortune with dreadful food and music. Id have to buy stuff to wear that id never wear again and watch work people get d*unk, fall over, vomit then sleep !!! I go out with g instead

'Most likely to piss off a customer' etc

Seems like an excuse to have a dig at each but I'm sure he'll choose wisely.

We have 2 parties.

We have a lady who works with us who has epilepsy and the first party always has some sort of disco so she can't come because of the lights. We have a meal out together in January as it coincides with her birthday.

Our parties are pretty tame with no cliches. We all have a few drinks but nobody gets really pissed. We all have a dance and nobody cops off with someone they shouldn't.

I guess we are a boring lot as there is no gossip to see us through the following weeks

We’ve got a swish do this year. I’ve been put down with a plus one, despite protesting I don’t have a plus one

. I’ll buy a frock I’ll wear once, spend the week before having gone off the idea of going, but still have a great time when I get there.

Last year involved me embarrassing myself, face planting in front of the whole company WHILE STONE COLD SOBER.

The biggest cliche at ours is which of the married salesmen tries to cop off with the newest attractive female to join

I always get really d*unk at my work dos despite insisting that I won't. I start drinking then don't want my meal and am the first one buying rounds of shots. I usually embarrass myself in some way or another but then have 2 weeks off before I have to see anyone again!

In previous jobs I have had the most amazing Christmas parties. Some that start on the Friday evening and end on Sunday and you laugh and talk about them for weeks after. Those were the days!

Now I avoid them at all costs.

Ours is at the local gay club this year. Normally none of the big bosses ever go so we can let our hair down and have a great time. The food is always lovely and we get a couple of free drinks to warm us up. The worst thing about last year was waiting for taxis home when my feet where killing me from dancing. It’s on a Thursday night this year so god knows what the office will be like on the Friday. I’ve booked the day off though so won’t have to suffer it

I was paranoid when I went in to work the following day thinking I might of said mouthwash or something (he had really bad halitosis)...but no, I said 'a gangbang'....

that's what Christmas parties are about! Last year I slut dropped one boss numerous times and accidentally flashed my foof to another, when I say flashed I was actually stuck between two chairs for a good minute with legs wide open and a cheese string excuse for knickers...

Back in the 80,s at work the office always had a christmas meal, wine and beer to drink, some carols played, and did as little as possible afterwards, thou jobs can get quite routine in life I can look back now and realise how lucky I was to have such times and colleagues,as time goes on and you can remember those times you do get sentimental and nostalgic about it all and it can come at you in waves at times as now for me, I hope everyone enjoys themselves whatever you do..
