How will you be enjoying your day off?

I'm enjoying the delights of a three day weekend. This hardly ever happens for me but after a few busy weeks I felt I needed a little more time for R&R.

This morning I will be going for a (brisk) walk across the moors, ending with a steaming cup of tea in a cosy coffee shop.

The sun's shining so we're going for a very long walk among the autumn leaves.

I'm waiting for my car to be MOT'd. I've found a lovely cosy coffee shop that will hopefully soften the blow when I get the bill!!

That sounds wonderful! I'm not working until 4 today, so I've had a lie in, I'm gonna do some yoga, maybe go for a walk, and do some cooking so I have something to eat while I'm working later.

Well I was up around 7.25 when the hounds awoke, at which point I donned my most favourite smoking jacket, and took the short walk from the east wing (where I generally reside) to the garden whereupon the hounds took to their morning constitutional.

I then summoned my footman, who arranged a carriage and we took flight to Waitrose for oatmilk and fresh coffee.

Since then I have returned to my chambers for some gently relaxation, before later taking another carriage out to enjoy the autumnal sunshine with a brisk walk also....

The afternoon shall be full of my own fancy.

Haha

Jolly good!

I shall be off for a day of badly paid slavery shortly.

I wish I'd booked the day off today - I REALLY can't be arsed

I'm off too! It's been a while. Gym this morning, catching up on some ironing, perhaps meeting an old friend this afternoon and finally taking her clothes off

Have a three day weekend every week. It's not so much a novelty now. Today is the best day of the week really, I get to do the school run at 3:15.

Well I can confirm it was absolutely baltic up on the moors! I wrapped up warm but I don't think any amount of clothes would have stopped Jack Frost from biting. Now off to warm my fingers on a nice hot brew. A cake of some description will be in order as I've worked up quite an appetite.
