I ride road, although not for a year or so after some knee troubles and other things which have taken priority for now.

It's got mountain bike front fork suspension with bmx long bar handlebars a trials frame and a bmx back wheel

My last"custom bike" was 2.2m long and made out of five different bikes very difficult to ride but so worth it just for the shocked looks of passers-by

Got a road bike and I love it - a bit old now but full carbon and I've just fitted a new group set.

Same here, prefer coastal rowing and came 27th in the Coastal Championships last month (may not sound much to some but given the competition I am really pleased with that result).

Happy paddling

Nice work! Coastal here in the HDARA league. I have randomly picked up a couple of river points too.

Square blading across the ferry wake in the cold was fun this morning.

Must get my double sculling back on track over winter.

This morning's row sounds pretty good fun.

I am looking fo a club up here who go coastal sculling, but most clubs appear to be on the south coast.

Keep on training, two years before the next world champs - in Hong Kong (Not sure if I will be going to that one)

Owl,

We have hijacked this thread. Yeah great championship down here although bizarrely our final this year was in Dorney lake...in coastal boats! Still a fantastic experience although looking straight down the 2k course is a little daunting.

You clearly have abilities way above my own!

OOPs perhaps we have, but it would be good to get a few more like minded souls involved in our wonderful sport.

Not sure I am much better, just fortunate to row with a good crew

Another roadie here, although the cycling doesn't really seem to cross paths with our swinging life.

Well worth the trip, Afan can be split into two sections really as the lower level trails are at Afan but then you've got the higher grades at Glyncorrwg.

Fort William is my number 1 where I any to ride so far.
