I never gets spots .But woke up with one big sore red spot on my chin .

Ahhhhhhhh...oh no! That’s a total bummer. On the odd occasion I do get one, I leave it. I never really had spots though so I’m never sure if that’s the right thing to do either. #nohelpatall

I don't get them very often but when I do they are massive!!

I usually put really hot (as hot as I can bare) water on a flannel, hold it on the area for ages then give a squeeze

It's usually cleared up after 3ish days.

This, and if you have any tea tree oil put a bit on it after, should get rid of it!

I always squeeze. You shouldn't. You should leave them, but I have to squeeze.

If it's one that is just red with nothing to squeeze, I use witch hazel on them.

Wait until there is a nice yellow head on it. Hot flannel and do a pull apart and squeeze motion with two fingers either side of it.

Until then Tea Tree spot stick or even an ice cube to reduce the redness.

I LOVE squeezing spots! Best thing ever! Dreamcatcher Xx

Toothpaste on it before you go to bed. It will do one of 2 things either bring it out so you can squeeze it (with clean hands) then put ansipeptic on it or it will dry up.

Toothpaste and sudocrem will make a right mess of my pillow case if i put it on before bed .Have used hot water and tea tree oil applied .no head on so haven't popped it .so sorry no you tube video yet .

It may even be gone tomorrow. The body's usually very good at ridding itself of nasty stuff without needing to use extra products. Took me ages to follow that advice! As long as you're drinking lots of water and eating plenty of fruit, you'll be fine

On the odd occasion that either Mrs or I get one, one useful (the only useful) benefit of having diabetes is the micro fine needles I get supplied. Just insert the needle into the spot, leave there for about a minute and then withdraw, and the thing will weep out without squeezing. Head or no head, it works every time.

Well this morning I woke up with my big spot but had a lovely white head .so the hot flannel and tea tree oil method worked .so i gave it a little squeeze and I heard the pop sound and it's looking better now .just cleaned it and put more tea tree oil on .just hope it doesn't get another head on .

General rule is to leave it, but you wouldn't be frowned upon for popping it. We've all done it in the past
