I've posted a few short stories on lit-erotica but I am toying with the idea of a full length erotic novel

Is it full of sizzling Gypsies? If not, it won't be a patch on "Edmund: A butler's tale".

"What do you write estella? General area no need to out yourself "

Quite a few things... I write as part of my job (research/policy/campaigns and service specs) but I also write short stories, poetry and essentially write to reflect, learn, gain insight and work through an issue.

More introspective, somewhat bleak/dark and always character driven (people’s motives and inner landscapes fascinate me), heartache more than happy endings though.

I’ve had a recurring dream about a book for a long time that is more a coming of age story, but still haven’t attempted to pull it into form because I know it’s an actual book not a short story and it scares me somewhat! It’s like art, I’m a happy doodler but I’m not good enough for more. Short stories allow me to enjoy the process without feeling overly pretentious. They work as little reminders for me of thoughts and ideas, and lessons.

Had a few short stories published on Lush Stories and currently have a half written one on my laptop but have a bit of writers block as I haven't touched it in a few weeks.

Key to writers block - pen & paper and literally write ANYTHING

Typical writers self consciousness, I'm the same. That said 3 friends have bitten the bullet in last couple years and are now published, one has won a prize.

All self publishers should take inspiration from Lord Dexter - A Pickle for the Knowing Ones
