maybe not the typical fab post but sod it.

I am seeing a lot of people at work who are unwell, who might or might not recover and who often had horrendous lives. now I am not usually personally affected by it and can leave it at work. I think i can only think of 3 things that really got me. and today was one of those.

It just made me realise again that all of my little worries and difficulties are really not that bad. I am fairly healthy. I have friends and family I trust. I have a job that I enjoy. never take things for granted- life can be a bitch and steal things like that away.

sorry for the soppy post...

We all need outlets and to know there's empathy out there.

Totally understand this. It’s a real leveller to have your stuff pulled into perspective by other’s stuff.

I lost my dad last year and he was only 58, it's been a shit time and makes you question how long you have yourself. The main thing I've taken from it is life can be too short, enjoy it while you have good health and don't put anything off that you've always wanted to do!

Was in a coma in May. I've decided now to stop torturing myself trying to please everyone else, I'm the only person who gets to make the rules for me!

Totally understand this. I have had some moments lately that has made me realise how short life can be and how you shouldn't waste it being unhappy or not doing what you want.

Your right op. It's good to take stock of our lives, when we look at what we real need and what really makes us happy.

Each morning I wake I realise how lucky I am to have friends and family I can talk to.

Big hug to you.

Cannot do it 24/7 but I always try to be happy and grateful ... me more than most has huge reasons to display this behaviour
