What’s everyone’s thoughts on winking, good way of gauging someone’s interest, annoying or just a lazy way of getting someone’s attention.

I like a wink ...... I think it's a good way to start especially when someone we have previously checked us out winks us first

I like an odd wink on here if they are showing interest but here's how it normally goes

Ladies- loads of winks, cannot keep up with them, don't respond mainly.

Men- Very occasional wink,chuffed when you get one, always respond.

I wink when I find a message not too easy to start from their profile. That or I’m being lazy and hoping they just wink me back!

I don’t get winks so I’m assuming most women just ignore them, winks better than nothing right? Oh wait don’t they say that about wanks?

There is a note on my profile that says I don't ever check winks or friend requests....still get 100s a day....it's odd how many people can write but not read lol

I send them but then again I am new here so have no idea about whether or not there a good thing. I tend to send them to let people know I like what I have read or seen on the profile in the hope they may send one back or message me so I know to proceed !

However I’ve not received anything of the kind yet bar a few messsges from other men!

I don't mind receiving a wink, I even got one from a couple just last week (first one from anyone in months). I see them as a way of getting your attention, especially as 99% of women don't allow you to see they've checked out your profile I usually send winks to people I like the look of, but who are generally miles away

We like using the wink system its an easy way to judge if there is a mutual physical attraction before evening messaging each other.

The only time we wont wink before sending a message is if the person has wrote on there profile that they ignore them.
