There and to the left a bit

Depends on my mood and also the type of Rock - if we're talking Heavy Metal then Motown all the way - if we're talking Muse, Biffy etc then it's a tough call

Not a comparison of equals, Motown is one lable in the soul, rnb and funk genres and Rock is a genre of music of its own A better comparison would be Funk or Rock. But given the brilliance of artists like Prince does it have to be one or the other?

As somebody with a lifelong involvement with rock, I have to admit I don't find it sexy, and yes I've tried to.

Motown can be, but depends on which motown.

I've been listening to Motown iver this past week a lot (it's on the only station I could get tuned in properly)

Am seriously forgot what wonderful voices those guys had in their heyday. Whatever you think about Diana Ross you can't deny her voice is ine of the best. Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robbinson both selling millions of records without auto tune or the talents of guitar or drum solos behind them. And some songs are timeless.

Different tunes for different moods and occasions, couldn't do without either or, any of the other genres to be honest.

I wouldn't limit myself to just Motown. Stax and Atlantic among others had some great artists too. San Cooke released much of his stuff on RCA.

I like my rock too though. So really depends on my mood.

Agree 100% also love to hear them remixed. Awesome tunes and lyrics live and touch you which genre they are produced in.

All genres, why pigeon hole your tastes.

Many artists release Work which would class as a multitude of genres.
