I kid you not, I've emptied out my sock draw and other places and I'm sat in my front room with them thrown on the floor trying to make matching pairs

End of play I've got 18 single socks

Can anyone beat that and more importantly has anyone got the following in singles they want to send my way

Worlds greatest dad

Superman

I love beer

White trainer sock

Black with green heel and toe

Black with pink heel and toe

7x different black ones

Walking boot sock

Thin stripes

Thick stripes

X2 Black&white stripe

Do you think sock swapping party's would catch on

I only buy plain black ones. Makes life easier. Don't even have to pair them to put them in the drawer if I don't fancy. I don't have time for all that sock shenanigans of a morning. Just open the drawer and away with the first two I pick up.

But then people with their infuriating generosity go and buy me some as gifts. I mean its hard to look pleased with socks at the best of times but when they aren't plain black and throw out your entire system it's a mini tragedy.

Different sizes and some have elastic at the top others don't some are rigged some aren't. Some have colour on the heels and the colour doesn't match
