Any one else sat in on a Saturday night right now listening to the crackle, crack, n thumps n bangs going off in the darkness outside like some kind of a distant fire fight, and thinking to your self ok so I don`t know exactly were they are, but I kind of want in on the action as well

I can take or leave fireworks. Sitting around the fire was the thing I enjoyed.

Sounds like downtown Mosul or Baghdad in my street.

My pussys are curled up next to me, petrified.

Loved them when I was a kid

Just don't see the appeal now so happy to be indoors just listening to them

In the middle

Loads going off by me as we have a few pubs and clubs close to us, and we have an old quarry works behind so the sound is rebounding off the quarry banks, so we are getting a double bang as it were

Hereabouts

I've never liked them. Never will. They go right through me. The youngest dog is confused as fuck thinking she should be retrieving dead birds and wondering why they're not dropping out of the sky.

I wouldn't mind if it was on Bonfire Night only but it's too frequent.

Turned the telly up now and I'm watching The Shawshank Redemption with a bottle of white zinfandel

They're great when you're trying to have a bit of a kip before a 12 hour nightshift. Absolutely love them.

Just to cap off the moronic amount of explosives being used, all I can hear during the lull in 'action', is the sound of fire engine sirens.

Northampton Somewhere

Ive just back from a big display set of to music. We usually go to a smaller village affair but fancied something different this year.

The fireworks were good but too many people for my liking AND there was a designated area for sparklers!!!

Hiding in the shadows

I love them, and have a crazy dog who does too.

She's been perched on the settee, peering out the blinds & wagging her tail as they shoot over
