Knitting poppies!

I know it's for a good cause knitting poppies on a Saturday night but is anyone else home alone and bored!

Home alone but not bored yet, bloke movies to keep me entertained, beers to suitably warp my mind, kitties to stroke and calm me, and a hottie to blow me when she gets home.

Perhaps 'knitting knockers' would be appropriate. There are volunteers who knit an alternative packing, to put in bra's after a mastectomy. Some people don't get on with the silicone style inserts apparently

I love knitting and crochet poppies is something I yet to do. Though I did see some beautiful ones on pintrest earlier.

Oh, they are officially called 'knitted knockers' in case any one thinks it was a disrespecful phrase

Are the dementia mitts the ones with the buttons, threads and other assorted things to fiddle with?

Seen them around.

Both are worthy causes.

Yes that's them they do work as i use them at work .patients fiddle with then instead of pulling cannula out

They do look nice ,a patient knitted some for other patients one year was nice .

Just back from a Saturday working at a marathon massaging achey peole, stopped off at ikea for some meatballs on the way home

Now its a cup of tea and a manly bath lol
