Tbh I dont really notice the status headline

I look at pics ( need to be classy ones )

Then read profile needs s little humour

And then see if interests are compatible

Wouldn’t make a difference to us sorry.

But a witty or relevant one does help to make your profile more complete which makes you a lot more attractive on the whole I’d say.

I’m sure changing it to “would like to try some cock for a change” would definitely get you a lot of messages though.

It can make a bit of a difference for me. If it's a quote from a work I recognise and enjoy and is used in an amusing way (not just lifted out of text and crap as a standalone quote) then it gives me an excuse to shoddily message him.

Yes a witty and eye catching stat us will get my interest .I'd then have a peek at the profile and pics . Sometimes have even mailed after it .I find it also handy as a tool to block those who I certainly wouldn't meet . Some of the statuses you see while scrollin on local updates really do beggar belief and just instant turn off. Why these guys think any grown arse woman would be remotely interested after such drivel is totally beyond me !

A funny, interesting or intriguing status definitely makes me look further. Sometimes it will be a profile I wouldn't have looked at otherwise, other times it gives me an opening for sending a message relating to it on a profile I've admired.

If a single female or even a couple puts up a "horny or looking for fun" status its ok and you can guarante the said profile inbox will be inundated with messages where if a single male was to so the above it would scream out desperation and an instant block in some cases.....
