i know a few attached tvs who use going fishing as a cover for meeting.. i can understand this as it's one generally male hobby so boring, that few women would be interested in any aspect of it..

I enjoy going for carp and tench during the warmer months, chub and barbel when autumn starts plus a bit of spinning for perch. Not been much this summer, my favourite venue has cut most the trees and over cover back which has hit the fishing quite badly. Was back on the river for the first time in a while Friday after Barbel, blanked but there was plenty of fireworks to watch and had a great new audio book- a plague of giants by Kevin Hearne to listen to
