The Shallows - SkyGo on demand HD

Very fast paced film about a lone surfer who is attacked by a shark and has to fight for survival.

PTU's Rating 4*

Very good film with all the excitement of will she survive or not. Most of the film is very believable and I was wondering if it was in fact based on a true story but then in the last half hour it went all jaws n was ruined.

Shallows was watchable , but totally agree the ending became a bit much .

Decent film though , not sure if others can post ratings on your ratings thread so I'll leave it as decent

Course you can all opinions are welcome. I started reviewing stuff I watch on here ages ago n it was quite popular so I though I'd resurrect the idea. xxx

Strange things 2 netflix

Some of the acting by wynona ryder and the ginger girl was awful....overall 3/5

I binge watched that the day it came out . It was a bit slower paced this time round but love the series.

4* for me

I really didnt enjoy that film ...struggled through the boredom hoping it'd get better but actually got worse

I really didnt enjoy that film ...struggled through the boredom hoping it'd get better but actually got worse "

I enjoyed the boredom bits it was the low budget jaws part that put me off. The ending redeemed it tho. xxx

A web of lies and deceit that detective Ambrose needs to untangle. This has it all, sex, drugs, religion and a smattering of rock n roll.

It’s been out for a while but I’ve only just watched it Game of Thrones Season 7

Overall rating 7.5/10

Great storylines as usual but so fast paced things seemed to go missing, I mean a little bit of travelling every now and again wouldn’t go amiss. And not to mention the actor who played Rhaegar Targaryen was stitched up, he had a hand me down wig and as for “the most beautiful man in Westeros” was hardly Brad Pitt, I mean Jaime Lannister is better looking than Rhaegar

Mindhunter

Atmospheric, dialogue/character driven 10 parter set in the 70s...law enforcement, the FBI in particular, are struggling to profile a new type of killer...someone who does not appear to fit existing profiles, someone who does not appear to have any motives....

Thouroufgly enjoyed the journey of the two agents as they try to learn what makes these killers tick....

Oh now this is fascinating isn't it. I weirdly found I had a soft spot for the first guy. I often think about getting myself a death row pen friend. Murders are fascinating in a fucked up kinda way. Xxx

Psychopaths in particular... the first guy was excellent... a cuddly sadist!

Look forward to season 2

I'm giving discovery a bash at the moment...but have yet to make my mind up. I haven't been blown away by any moments yet and am unable to form an emotional connection with the characters. I must have been raised a Vulcan too!

The Punisher- Netflix

I'd give it 4 stars

Good story and characters, good action. If you were disappointed with Defenders and Iron Fist then Punisher doesn't let you down. There's a couple moments where you need a strong stomach lol. Episodes 2-6 are slow, but that's cos I feel like if you've seen the trailers you know where they were going. Definitely up there with the better marvel and Netflix series
