It's Finally Happened!

Wasn't even going to bother trying again today but I thought why not, nothing ventured, nothing gained. So, I went through my usual superstitious rituals, I know they're stupid but isn't it amazing the none sensical things you'll try to hopefully make something happen?

Well, holding my breath, I gingerly climbed onboard and slowly looked down....I was in!!!

Yes, at last, I'm once again in under 12 stone, I'm a 11 stone something man and no longer a nearly 17 stone man....I nearly cried!

Hope something equally absolutely marvelous happened out of the blue to you today too.

You're not - but you'd be forgiven if you were. As someone who has been a yo-yo dieter for over 30 years I know how tough it is (currently in fat mode again )

I was headed towards 16 stone when I decided to do something about it. Keeping it off is the next challenge - stay strong and you’ll keep that sense of achievement

I went bowling with the family and actually bowled. Admittedly, I was using the extra small ball and had the bumpers up (I was on the kids' alley), but I did pretty well for myself and came 3rd-out of 4
