Who's putting up all these poppies on the lampposts, they seem to have sprung up everywhere in the middle of the night??

Got loads around us as well. Usually RBL or local council volunteers who put them up after a donation

Strange, we've never seen them before - have you actually seen council workers putting them up?

Its probably because people are scared to wear them now in fear of being attacked!

Such a lovely country we live in!

I came past Biggin Hill airfield, where they always have a large memorial service, and I thought it was just on the lampposts round there, but then went on for miles! Saw a load last night somewhere on the way back from dancing in town, all through a local village. They're about a foot across.

Facebook, never use any Social media.

Ask any police force in the UK, they have figures on the number of people who have experienced this!

None in Leeds or Skipton, more’s the pity. We’re big on the wristbands instead

Getting attacked for wearing poppies? Just asked three mates of mine in different police forces across the country and none of them have heard of anything more than hearsay on that one.

...Up on the Downs

Apparently they cost £3 to the RBL and councils are purchasing them, as a donation, and they are cable-tied by volunteers. Some small towns are considering blanket coverage so ordering 700 of them!
