Ive eliminated taste and smell as I think most people would choose those!

Im the same. I was being a bit pervy and thinking on a sexual level, I'm not so visually stimulated as I am.turned on by touch and sound.

I was thinking how isolating it must be to have no hearing. Yes there is sign language but imagine being at a party and everyone just talking around you. You could see them but you couldn't be involved.

Imagine how isolating it would be to see just black? How difficult it would be to communicate with anybody not in ear shot, how taking a trip to the shops would be? Dressing yourself, doing your hair, shaving, unable to drive, unable to watch TV.

To be fair, I'd hate either!

Ooh it's hard. I don't think I could cope without sight, was thinking maybe touch but then how could you enjoy another's body. It would have to be hearing.

It'd have to be smell for me!

It's a tough decision but to not hear would mean no music and therefore makes life unlivable. To not see mean to not perceive the beauty this world has to offer therefore rendering life unlivable. To not taste means to not enjoy amazing dishes therefore life becomes unlivable. To not sense touch means to not feel the touch of a beautiful woman making life unlivable.

To not smell.. Sure there are cons but no more nasty smell ever. Life becomes more livable

Sight, probably. I have a condition where I don’t have a mind’s eye. I can’t visualise anything in my head at all. So it would be seriously dark in there but the thought of never hearing music or someone's voice again is horrible. And losing touch! I’d be dead in a day

Hiding in the shadows

Touch.

Due to a car crash a few years ago I have nerve damage in my left arm & right leg. Very limited feeling in both.

I couldn't cope not seeing, but I can do Makaton, so don't suppose BSL would be much harder to learn, so given an absolute choice hearing would go
