Anyone nostalgic for their favourite closed record store?

‘The Record Peddler’ in Manchester was different, they had virtually the entire Factory Records back catalogue .. I miss it!

Vinyl Frontier in Liverpool was always great, had lots of rare vinyl there, it might still be there but I’ve not been for years.

Yeah he did, if probe is still going they’ve moved premises as it’s not where it used to be. That’s a trendy wine bar now

We,'ve got a second hand vinyl record shop in our town. In the old days I went to boots and they would play bits of the singles if you asked them.XXX

Spillers Record Shop in Cardiff has been around for donkey years.

Was originally located in a shop on the Hayes but has relocated now.

Bostock Records in Huddersfield was good ... I remember buying some Sex Pistols photos there, not realising that they were taken at the legendary Ivanhoe gig on Xmas day .. still got them!

Hairy records in bold street Liverpool, a cracking shop where I bought the majority of my smiths collection and a good few Manics pieces, the guy used to put pieces by until I had the cash.

Thinks its an Italian cafe now.

That’s surreal

Just watched John Lydon on ‘What makes Britain Great’ .. and there he was in ‘Hairy records’ Liverpool

Used to love a place called Spinadisc in Northampton . Used to get all my rock vinyl there . And I could even smoke upstairs ( I'm showing my age now )
