Some fuckwit told me the ending before I'd seen it, so I waited 8 years before watching it lol

I liked the ending to "The Usual Suspects"

true story or urban myth but heard a story about a fight that broke out outside a cinema in the states on the opening day of Titanic ... a couple leaving from the opening showing were saying how realistic the iceburg looked when someone who had been waiting for a long time in the queue got irate at them for spoiling the end of the film

(believable in that yanks aren't the greatest in absorbing real history - only what Hollywood tells them) lol

Not at the end of a film but the middle. In Silence of the Lambs when Hannibal Lecter sits up in the back of the ambulance and removes the face he ripped off the prison guard to place over his own I thought what a flaming brill twist - I didn't see it coming.

Shawshank Redemption,,, for clever timing of a message telling Red to go find a note in box, hidden under a rock, in the wall, next to a tree, when the note in the box hadn't even been wrote or put there yet!!!!

I think I've got that about right

Ya didn't see that one coming?! I was suspiciuous that Bruce's character was a ghost when his wife ignored him at the restaurant, paid the bill and left.

Now the last few scene of Unbreakable, they were a surprise- Samual Jackson playing someone who is is not really cool?.. Who'd have thought it?

Se7en. Brad Pitt's wife's head in the box and that took care of the last two deadly sins (Envy & Wrath) in the final moments of the film. Great twist.

Really? I got that straight away....the same with Shutter Island, much to Tods annoyance.

I have to admit that I was surprised by the end of Saw & of Fight Club.

The Boy in Striped Pajamas I thought would end completely differently, but I think that was more wishful thinking on my behalf.

Sadly a lot of film I'm more surprised by the lack of imagination & originality more than anything

The ending of the Invasion of the body snatchers - the remake with Donald Sutherland. Not so much the twist, just the fact when his female co-star runs up to him at the end not knowing he has been taken over - shivers down the spine every time!!!

I never think most films ppl hype as big twists have em sixth sense was obvious from first 5 mins as was shutter island

Only film that did make me smile was fight club cos it was very clever but when seen the story at end unfold was obvious when saw the clues

The twist in the first saw was good, how he laid there the whole time and still controlled things, and the usual suspects great film how up to the last min where you don't know it's really him who had been the guy pulling all the strings

Midnight sting , starred James woods, Louis gosset jr, and Bruce stern , boxer had to fight 10 guys in 48 hrs I think, James woods is a bit of a con man, Bruce stern owns the town (bad bugger) and gosset is the ex boxer, you will not see a better film , the wife even loved it lol

Ohhh I thought I was the only person who saw 'Stir Of Echos'

Old Boy was a twist that really was git wrenching.

We saw another foreign film recently that was pretty heavy, and it had an even worst twist than Old Boy, which you would have thought could not have been topped on the grounds of bad taste.
