As with all of our seasonal festivals it's been commandeered and corrupted by those pesky Christians but i can let that go. A great time to be had by young and old alike, of pumpkins and parties, dressing up and trick or treat.

So while you're busy celebrating please spare a thought to what it should really be about, where it came from and why you're doing what you're doing.

Samhain blessings.

Funnily enough I've just been listening to some cunt on the radio having a right old rant about how those filthy American foreigners have corrupted and ruined the traditional Christian festival of Halloween...

We've dressed our alter accordingly and we'll try to squeeze a small ritual in tonight but we have guests staying so i don't know if we can do anything more.

We are off to Dartmoor tomorrow though, spending a couple of days near Merrivale. Looking forward to that.

My altar is still packed up from house move (nowhere to put it) but it doesn't take much to do a blessing and of course the meaning is what matters
