We always have Haribo forbtrick or treat due to milk allergys. We know first hand (our son is allergic) how upset kids can get when there's nothing they can have.

Spend about a tenner in Poundland and buy a few boxes of chocolates and put them in a big Halloween plate so you get a pic n mix and make chocolate apples and chocolate marshmallows for when they are standing at the door telling jokes x

I buy sweets every year, but we’re tucked away and no one ever finds us! We have haribos and some swizzlers sweets (I’m partial to the drumsticks and refreshers).

I’ll be out trick or treating with my youngest, she is dressing as a black witches cat, I can’t wait to dig out the face paint
