Morning all,

I've indulged in pubic topiary for a number of years and have always used my trusty shaver. Recently I managed to cut into my nut sack and produce an amount of bloody only usually reserved for a Quentin Tarantino film. With this in mind I've decided to start using hair removal cream/powder.

Now, I've been told magic powder is really good. However, I can only buy this online and have already been ket down by two eBay sellers.

Does anyone have any other suggestions as to what is best that will leave minimal irritation around the impacted area, either powders or creams?!?!

Have you tried having it waxed? A lot of places offer it for men these days - is pricey (around £45) but leaves a very smooth finish and is not as painful or embarrassing as you might think.

I did toy with this option. But I'm also in the middle of a very pricey house move so can't really justify the outlay atm.

Did you cut yourself with a wet razor, have you tried an electric one or trimmer normally used for hair on your head?

I don't know if it's recommended but what about hair removal cream you get over the counter. I'm thinking of the sensitive or bikini line ones.

I always buy magic powder from ebay or amazon and I must have been lucky because I've not been let down at all by any sellers.

Don't buy the premixed stuff, it isn't as good. I use the one for sensitive skin. It is a silver container with green writing on it.

Be very careful not to leave it on too long as it will burn and do a small patch test first.

The easiest way to mix it is to put the powder and water into a container that doesn't leak and just shake to mix. It's quick and easy and you don't get lumps.

If you don't want to wait for it to be delivered and want to try something else instead have a look in boots or superdrug. There are plenty of hair removal creams available. Just make sure you choose something for sensitive skin and either one that's formulated for the bikini line or the face. If it is ok to use on the face it's normally a safe bet to use on your bits

I use veet/nair or whatever's about a quid in the shop

got a bit posh this time and went for bikini line for the sensitive bits and normal for legs.

Does grow back pretty fast though and waxing definitely lasts longer. And as others have said watch out for burns . Nothing worse than wincing anytime someone touches the bits you hoped to present in all that smooth glory
