Did anyone see them on the news...

Oh it was sooooo sad to see these poor chimps take their first steps outside in 30years.

Those responsible need bloody stringing up.

Agreed very sad. The reporter said the could live another 20years lets hope they are well looked after and want for nothing!

Nice ending to a vile trade

Should have been delt with years ago

Who the hell do the human race think they are sometimes ?

That statement may anger some but if something has to suffer and die so I can live then I don't want it

And yes I most probably have taken stuff tested on animals I know but to be truthful I thought this vile practice was discontinued years ago

The guy who is looking after them has spent about 3 million setting things up. I do hope they can live the rest of their life happy and contented .

they have been in a lab for about 20 years and are now free to live in a sanctuary ... this was them seeing fresh air for the first time

Whilst I too am delighted they are now living these more normal lives, the behaviour we term as smiling and hugging may well be a gesture of reassurance to their troop, as they will be fearful when experiencing anything new, indeed they may well experience something akin to agoraphobia.

So glad they have people finally putting their needs first though
