How do different people get over that mixture of emotions when a planned meet turns into a no show, all that excitement of looking forward to a meet, turning into the deflation of all your effort when they just don't turn up, me i just get back fab again and crack open a nice bottle of red, what's your cure.

We only do club meets, in part to avoid situations as you have described so it's never been a problem for us.

I've never got angry, maybe screaming and shouting could help me shake off It off quicker. I just feel disappointed, and somehow foolish.

It took a while to get over it, but you do don't you? It's normaly time, and that is determined by how much I liked them.

I've never been let down BUT I always have a plan....

I meet prepared to shop or see a friend and the plan is always to do those things but drop them if i meet with someone so my time isn't wasted.

Never put it to the test tho ..... cos never had to.

Were they chatting right up to the meet?? I don't even get in the shower unless people are communicating freely, I never assume a first meet is still on, plenty of fantacists and picture hunters on here!

Up to now I’ve never turned up to a social and been left standing alone, but if it did happen, I’d be a little miffed but then just leave it, again, it depends if the person in question got in touch and explained the reasons for not being able to make it. On the other hand, my Mrs has arranged to meet guys and they haven’t turned up, which has peed her off big time.

Same. I always have a back up plan but never had to use it.

I wouldn't have a person as a plan b sex meet though. That's just rude.

The first few times I was let down I was devastated, rejection, pride bruised etc. Now I kinda half expect a no show,so I waste no time, dust myself down and try again.

I had definitely got easier as the days go by..

Only happened the once, but there was a good reason for it. I sulked alone in a hotel room for a bit, then opened a bottle of red, stuck the telly on and read my book.

Same here. I used to meet during my lunch hour or at the station after work. Lunchtime, I was eating anyway, evening, I was heading home.

A play meet, I'd use a flexi day, I'd be at home anyway, they all turned up.

Only experienced a let down for the first time quite recently.

Bit that was the worst was the waiting wondering if I should just give it another five. Feel very self aware that you’re hanging about looking like you’ve been stood up.

Kinda like when your bus doesn’t show.

Similar - for day time socials I fit them around what I need to do (shopping, dentist, bank etc). I've only had one no show and I didn't either (I was within five minutes of the venue waiting for him to tell me he had arrived).

Depends on what people call time wasters. Some would call me a time waster because I just chat to people. Or I change my mind about meeting and let them know before we arrange it.

I've been stood up several times and it just wastes very precious time. I wouldn't mind if I got a text or message to let me know.

I'm also a time waster and a fake according to some because I do t meet. Won't give out my number won't join kik or Skype one on one. Some can't accept that we are just here for any other reason but sex

Most of my abuse comes from wo.en and couples telling me when I go o cam I take the attention from the real swingers. That's not my problem I don't force people to view me not them .

It's got to the point now that when I arange a dogging meet with the person or persons I now make it clear I don't want them to say they will be there but only that they may pop over becoz unespected things can happen where they are no longer able to meet that way I can carry on with my night
