PPI claims

Has anyone done this and made a claim against having PPI thrust upon you ?

I did and have won, yippee .

Im well chuffed with the letter i got today from the FSCS

Yes. Went via a company route then saw Martin Lewis on tv who said people should do it themselves and had details on his website. Tried phoning the company but they had a £5 a minute phone line.

I meant to write to them but forgot. Got my money...plus invoice from company!

I have had 2 claims back,was well chuffed,I just phoned the company that they were with and asked,never use one of them places that claim they can get it back for you as they charge,and they only do the same as you would yourself,the banks have set billions back for this as they are going to pay out big time over this con

Ive done it myself as i though paying some 1 to do it for was wrong as ive worked for a ppi company i knew what i had to do haha

Should never use one of these companies to do it as they take their own cut. Just approaching those you had mortgage, loan etc with and they will be able to advise...they have to by law

i used to work along side one of these companies, Most dont actually take a cut from the amount owed to you ... They claim it as an expense from the bank and government.
