I know it's seen as a cult classic but couldn't get into Reservoir Dogs...

That said at least it had production values... Some of those films on the horror channel and sci fi have sets so wobbly looking and acting so wooden you think they are part of the set.

Stuff like Sharknado is truly dreadful...

I took my daughter to see 'Where the Wild Things Are' a few years back and it was dreadful - dull and boring with a leading child I just wanted to slap very hard, non PC though that is.

Even longer ago I took my son to see 'Spice World' which was equally dire and cringeworthy ...

I don't remember the name of it but some 20 million year old mutant piranhas escaped from an undersea cave and went on the rampage. In one scene a piranha bit a guys cock off, looked directly into camera and spit it out with a bleurgh and shake of the head.In another, a girl floating in a rubber ring was eaten bum first, then we see her boob implants floating gracefully to the seabed. (They are the only thing a piranha won't eat, apart from cock).

That is Piranha 3D. A remake of a horror movie with the same name minus the 3D.

The main piranha attack in that movie sure was intense and was such a literal bloodbath. It sure had some funny moments like when that guy says "They took my penis. They took my penis" lol

Highlander 2.

Once met a woman from here that was obsessed with watching shitty films, nearly dug my eyes out with a spoon during highlander 2 when we watched it, so so bad, poor Sean Connery having that on his resume lol

I took my little sister to see the Brittney Spears film for 13 birthday and not even 10mins after the opening credits I wanted to set fire to myself.

"Most of the film's adapted from Steven King novels. Sadly it's a director and producer who give you what they think the author was trying to relate . By the way I think Steven King is a brilliant author.

The Green Mile

Stand By Me

Shawshank Redemption

The Shining

It

Misery

All of the above are Oscar winners in comparison to the truly awful, yet strangely watchable, The Roller Blade Seven.

Im not even going to attempt to describe how utterly fucking dire it is. Seek it out for yourselves if you can find a copy - but dont say I didnt warn you.....

I love it.

"Anything with Nicolas Cage, apart from The Rock."

Goodness he’s made many, many duff films.

He was good in “the rock” though

How about : Iconic films that you thought were actually s**t? I'll start the bidding off with the entire Star Wars saga.

There are plenty of film sagas that have dragged on/went on too much

Look at:

the fast and furious

Friday the 13th

Nightmare on elm street

Saw

Vanilla Sky was amazing till the last twenty minutes of bad sci fi came out of nowhere and fucked it all up.

Last Samurai - Tom Cruise is somehow the sole survivor, thus negating the movie's underlying theme of noble sacrifice completely. The only explanation is the machine gunner aimed at head height, shot everyone else in the face while the bullets passed harmlessly over Cruise's head.

The remake of The Omen. There are scenes in that that the Wayans Brothers would have been too embarrassed to use in Scary Movie 4.

Magnolia - apparently a great film for many but it was either wrong time/place for this in my life or it's poor.
