So you’ve a profile that should answer most of the question that get asked. And then you get message after message asking exactly those same questions you’ve already answered

Should you

1. Tell them to F O and read the bloody profile

2. Ignore them

3. Politely ask if they had read your profile

I just find it amazing when I’m asked do I Accom and where am I from when it’s all thier in profile

Just politely point them back to the profile, as it answers all their questions. Then block them as punishment for not reading it before pressing the send message button.

We mostly ignore. Sometimes we ask if the message was meant for us because it's so wide of the mark we genuinely think that they've made a mistake.

If you want to meet them forgive them all, they are only human.

If you do not wish to meet with them send them a message of immensely reprimanding tone, finish with a lot of fuck words and block them.

We get messages on our couples profile from people who clearly haven’t read it, I usually ask them to read our profile to which they delete the message and block us

Honest answer O.P............ just don't get 'amazed' by it. We tend to blame others for their behaviours when our reactions are what make us feel the way we do.

We all know that there is a percentage of users on here that 'copy and paste' the same message to hundred of accounts everyday looking for a couple of replies.

This should not shock you and if this frustrates you then you really need to look again at your expectations from being on this site.

I was agreeing with you.

They just wanted to break the ice.

The fact that they don't make contact in the way that the person messaged wants isnt important.

They did it their way.

Did I do well? Did I ?

But OP, I just read your profile, where are you from? You only state a country, so it does raise curiosity. You say you are travelling around Yorkshire, maybe sometimes you could be in an hotel so maybe then you may accommodate?

Is it rude when cutting and pasting pointless junk text to the end of your profile to cut off halfway through the end of the last word?

All these questions may possibly be a conversation starter

"Instead of doubling down on your view that this site is full of idiots, let's flip it round the other way. Why not think why am I attracting idiots?

Why do guys think I'm not worth writing a actual message and just think a copy and paste/generic opening will do

Is it because the decent guys are put off by all your pointless rules in your profile text?

Is it because you think having a status like "Think I overdid the curry last night ouch" puts off decent guys?

Is it because you think this is a valid forum thread?

Is it because you took the time to copy the "Sydney university...." shit thinking that doing so means that the info and pictures you upload and display on your PUBLIC profile are somehow protected by that text ha ha ha.

"

Hmm. So many points where do I start

Well firstly apart from the bollox you wrote which I don’t agree with as you seem to be a smart ass that is afraid to show your profile so I can’t criticise it.

Updates are just that. A place where we can put whatever we want to state our mood or whatever yes I over did the curry last night and my arse is stinging like a bitch lol

As for attracting idiots well i know everyone attracts them as we are open to view by most unless our profile is hidden!!!!

Ive no rules on my profile only my preferences they are thier to tell people what I like and dislike that are not available in the fab account settings. I could I suppose have put im a guy in a dress who likes to be fucked but that might give off the wrong messages!!!!!

And Sydney university well what can I say. Have you ever had photos copied and put on line. On google , Pinterest. Or even on other people’s profiles. ????? I have. It will never stop them but it’s just a warning nothing more

So now I’d like to comment on your profile seeing as I’ve given you the opportunity to do so on mine. O I can’t. It’s hidden !!?

Firstly the OP didnt mention copy and paste messages, just frustration at her profile criteria being ignored, which is a perfectly valid point. It's a profile based site, it's a complete waste of time being on here without one, equally pointless to message people without bothering to read their profile.

Secondly its against forum rules to pick apart someone's profile unless they have specifically asked for advice on it.And there is certainly no need to accuse them of having 'pointless rules' or 'shit thinking'.That is just plain nasty and uncalled for.

Yes it states that I’m from ireland but work in uk. With the area I work in. If I’m in ireland it will show my Irish address and if I’m in uk it will show area I am in Sheffield Doncaster etc

As for cutting off words at end of bio. Well that’s prob my mistake which I’ll sort out x

No we don’t own them I agree but we do not allow anyone to use them to either use as thier own or post randomly all over the net. It will never stop them but one must try.

It amazes me how sometimes these forums tend to loose track of original subject and start to pick apart people. Ive never highlighted one person or mentioned any ones name Other than a general open question. O fab. It’s so friendly.
