Age and photos...

What are your thoughts...

I've come across a lot of penis pictures, I check their profile and their age is 'reasonable ' to my preference. However, when I start talking to them, they look A LOT older than their profile age.

I even met someone ages ago and his picture was when he was a lot younger.

The problem I have, by the time we've chatted and seem to both want to shag, then I see their photo, I feel like I've wasted both our times.

Sometimes, I just feel like I'm coming across as to negative and picky.

Does this happen to you lovely people, what do you do?!

It happens a lot. Women will shave off a few years just as often as men do.

Personally I see their ambition but in reality it's unlikely to get them what they want

My face picture is about a month old. I've met a couple of guys, and I'm surprised I went ahead and shagged them, as opposed to turning back to my car and drive away (fast).

I think I need to tweak my profile a little more, make it clearer in what I'm looking for. However, my profile is turning into such a negative outlook about me.

Your best bet is to take all the 'I don't want...', leave in the 'I do want...'. It won't read so negatively, and large amounts of guys will as you say, ignore your wants.

Alternatively, block them all and only contact the guys who interest you.

This guy says he's 49 but does look about 20 years older. Which is fine, but it's not what I'm looking for

There is a lot of deception on this site. I don't really understand why as to deceive a potential meet is to lose out when caught out.

Our ages are correct (although we have been told we look younger -especially Coffee) and our pics are updated as we perceive any changes in ourselves.

To do otherwise is only to fool yourself.

The age preference on your profile is 39-54. To out the age fibbers why not ask to cam. In the posts above you mention appearance. Some 40 year olds look more like 60 and then you can get. 30 year old looking like a 40year old.

Why not just decide on appearance rather that what a person’s age is?

It is always your choice who you want to fuck at the end of the day and no one should feel that they have to just because you invested a lot of time in ‘chatting’.

If anyone messages with me without a face pic I'll delete....it says it in my profile and if they don't send a pic then I'm assuming they haven't read my profile and if they cant be bothered to read my profile then they're not going to be all that bothered about my likes and dislikes.

Ones that do send a face pic sadly 9 out of 10 aren't my type but I'm polite and reply that they're not my type

Stop chatting to them until you see a face picture then! If they are ignoring your request, they obviously have something to hide.

Most blokes automatically attach one to a first message, those that don't, simply ask for one.

I will rarely talk to anyone without knowing I am attracted to them, no face pic in a message just gets the message deleted unread as is the same with any that have not read my profile. I have found that even just talking to someone, they automatically assume it means you are interested so if I'm not or I don't know if I am then I don't reply, if I do it is usually because they are a long way from me and unlikely to meet me anyway

Some folk do try to 'trap' you into chat before unleashing pics hoping you already feel committed to meeting them by then. Don't think you owe them or yourself a meet or play just because you've invested time in them.

Learn who you want to invest time on by seeing pics before chatting.

I’m 48 I’m happy to be that age as I’m finally comfortable in my own skin and where I am in my life ! If you start off on a lie what’s the point cause as soon as you start talking about anything you’re going to wonder if they’re telling you the truth !

It's frustrating talking to people then finding out you don't fancy them.

I ask for a face pic early on, 2nd/3rd message. Most guys are happy to provide one and don't take offence if you send a polite ' thanks for sending but I'm not interested' type message. Of course you will sometimes get someone who doesn't like it, that's when the block button comes in useful

If someone has done something to cause you to waste your time then don't concern yourself about using theirs: they had engineered it that way.

I ask for the type of pics I need to determine if there's attraction early on - whatever their problem or excuse, I just wait for them to get their photos on Fab, before proceeding.

Its silly isn't it when photos are not exactly truthful.Surely if these people actually intend to meet the truth will be out?No your not being picky at all.
