If you ever need a chat off thread let me know and look after yourself mate "You guys are caring and I owed it to you say. Yeah we all get low at times, I had a breakdown a year ago after my wife left me,and found out rock bottom had a basement, it was life changing and i lost everything, every day has been a battle to carry on & get better for my 2 youngest kids, with several hurdles courtesy of their mother, I did get a lot better, but due to the time of year it's been much harder, and I haven't been coping as well, physically and mentally, my anxiety has flared up again and all its effects, overthinking and anywhere from an inner tremble to uncontrollable shaking of my left hand, my emotions are all over the place. And I've isolated myself from everybody. My social circle is the fab forums, and this thread is the only 1 I bother with. My support network is you guys and a couple of others on fab, my 2 youngest kids but they're too young for me to talk to, and my step daughter who comes to see me most weekends for a few hours, I have no real friends so when I'm not with my kids I'm by alone in my flat. Other help is regularly seeing my GP so she can keep an eye on me and my meds. This next month or so is going to be very hard for me, but i will get through it! I'm trying me hardest. | |||

You guys are caring and I owed it to you say.
Yeah we all get low at times, I had a breakdown a year ago after my wife left me,and found out rock bottom had a basement, it was life changing and i lost everything, every day has been a battle to carry on & get better for my 2 youngest kids, with several hurdles courtesy of their mother, I did get a lot better, but due to the time of year it's been much harder, and I haven't been coping as well, physically and mentally, my anxiety has flared up again and all its effects, overthinking and anywhere from an inner tremble to uncontrollable shaking of my left hand, my emotions are all over the place. And I've isolated myself from everybody.
My social circle is the fab forums, and this thread is the only 1 I bother with.
My support network is you guys and a couple of others on fab, my 2 youngest kids but they're too young for me to talk to, and my step daughter who comes to see me most weekends for a few hours, I have no real friends so when I'm not with my kids I'm by alone in my flat. Other help is regularly seeing my GP so she can keep an eye on me and my meds.
This next month or so is going to be very hard for me, but i will get through it! I'm trying me hardest.
Chin up dude. I had a dreadful break up nearly a year ago. Took me a while before I even thought I could smile again. Dipped my toe back in the dating world a couple of times after some casual shenanigans and life is looking good again.
What I would say mate is try and get outside your four walls if you can. I was lucky I had some cracking friends and workmates to help but there are networks out there mate.

"Evening everybody, I want to apologise for my lack of input over recent days, my head isnt in a particularly nice place at the moment, due to my depression amd anxiety, and its making me more antisocial than usual
As you all here are a lovely bunch, and my friends, I felt the need to explain a little to you.
Sweetheart, you don't have to apologise or explain yourself to anyone here. Most of us are strangers but we have a fantastic sense of support for each other, as in life, we all have issues of some sort.Today I have been in hospital all day, with my sister in law, who has terminal cancer. The positivity of these cancer patients astounds me and gives me a kick up the a*** when I'm feeling sorry for myself, which is quite often recently.
I love coming in here, because it just normalises everything. Sorry getting a bit deep now, been an emotional day. On the plus side, I have some beautiful new windows
An apology and explanation was something I felt I needed to do.
A stranger is a friend we haven't made yet. I think of you all as friends and appreciate your support
Some form of normality is exactly why I'm on here
Never apologise never explain..
And never say never..
Sometimes it's better just to say it like it is. Those that don't get it...theyre not important.
