That one song

Is there a song that you identify with, or just sums you up? The song you could have written yourself, if you could write a song. Maybe you can write a song.

I've not long listened to a song, that I always knew what it was about. Maybe because I haven't heard it in a while, I really listened to it. And for those three minutes I felt such sadness for myself, and the singer/writer.

What's your song?

It don't have to be sad, it might be Gangnam Style.

In 2013 a man i had a lot of sexy time with told me that whenever he heard Billy Joel's "She's Always a Woman" he thought of me.

I'd not actually heard the song so didn't think anything of it, but listening to the song and lyrics recently, it's quite a nice song.

I’ve written a few songs but none of them sum me up - rather they were expressions of how I was feeling at that moment in time.

However I always resonated with the lyrics of Chesney Hawkes - I am the one and only. Many a time I’ve belted it out in various places, dance floors at parties, on the bog, in the kitchen, in the shower, in the car, when I need to remember no one else is better at being me than me

Its like many of Mikes songs that chart for other artist ..... It was number one for a female artist and also used for a charity advert too.....

If Mike hadn't given U2 their big break the Waterboys would have been a huge act ,,,,

Mike helped edit a book I wrote we often speak ...... he thought the world of Shelley,,,,,, we've had phone calls where we were in floods of tears talking about her....

That line " how long will I love you? as long s as stars are above you, and longer if I can .... he rededicated to Shelley
