Had he lived he'd be 65 today ...

Am grateful to have been at Wembley in '86 to see the infamous gig ...

Anyone else have any memories of Queen at their strength?

Saw them many many times. I still ache when I thik of the great mans sad demise. This vid makes me cry. His statement and look at the end shows just how much he loved life and how much he didn't want to leave at that point. But was very accepting. Always such a professional.

Saw them at Bingley Hall Stafford in late 70's, and again at NEC around '82

Awesome shows, both of them

The Bingley Hall show was one of the first that Freddy did after having his hair cut short and growing his tash

Love Queen, but it always makes me chuckle that a bunch of homophobic, hairy arsed rockers loved them too, truly ironic!

I saw Queen at Milton Keynes bowl.

Freddie was the best performer there has ever been.

My son has inherited my adoration of them.

Still a massive loss to the world of music!!

Still miss him...

Never got to see him live, and that is one of my few regrets in life.

While the music lives on, he'll never truly be gone...

Gone but not forgotten.

Big big fan of them, saw them at Wembley in 86, and when the three remaining members did the tribute concert.

'who wants to live forever'

was lucky enough to see Queen and the great man a few times, '82 In Leeds, '84 at the NEC, and '86 at Wembley.

Was also lucky enough to go to the tribute concert held at Wembley, with teh remaining members and assorted guests

Am a great Queen fan, but am really not keen on the stuff with Paul Rodgers, also belive with all teh reissues of old albumns that have happend lately they become a bit of a cash cow

I think John Deacon has the right idea, he did the tribute show, then quit.
