I wouldn't accept a friend invitation or allow anyone to put me on their hotlist who'd be prepared to have.

It would be good if site let you know that both parties had hot listed each other but alas at moment no-one is informed if they have been hotlisted

It's not hard to work out sometimes...Change your status or post new pics and the same people look quite quickly. Doesn't work if they're ninjas though.
