I'm going to Kettlebells tonight gor the first time, I hope they have lighter ones as I'm so weak - my Kettlebell is 4kg and that's enough for me

I train, got my fitness back after a low point a year or two ago, now I'm trying to build my muscle back again but it's hard as I want to keep my stamina and lose a bit more weight.

As for training me well I’ve lost a reasonable amount of weight and gone from not being able to walk 1km without a struggle, to running (alibet slowly) 10k in a year! So I’d say so!

God I feel amazing. My confidence has sky rocketed and I feel fabulous.

(I also feel the need to point out I can run 10k in a much quicker time then 1 year )

Thanks very much. I feel better than I have in the last 25 years and I’m fitter and weigh less. Last time I was this fit was in my teens

Well if your joints, knees especially are suffering I'd suggest something less weight/stress baring. Avoid high impact stuff.

Swimming would be excellent, excercise bike, a recumbent style if you have back issues. Cross or elliptical style trainer.

If lifting, Lower weights but more reps

Try stretching your ankles on a step, drop your heels, then raise up onto tip toe.
