I lifted a girl last week for a social and on the way she ejected the CD in my car and was in kinks of laughter when I explained it was a country album, country seems to bring out the worst in people

I refuse to feel guilty for loving any music. Saying that, my music snob mates expect me to be shamefaced admitting that I happen to think that quite a few tunes they consider (or at least pretend to consider) passé such as Everybody by Backstreet Boys, Toxic by Britney Spears and Don't Call Me Baby by Voice of the Beehive are banging. No shame here. They are floor fillers and singalong marvels.

Like others have said, i don't agree with the concept of guilty pleasures but i do have a deep and fairly inexplicable love for 'Poison' by Alice Cooper. I don't much care for the genre of 80's glam metal nor the rest of Alice's oevre but goddam if that ain't one of my all time favourite songs! i can never listen to it just the once either, always at least twice before the itch is scratched.
