There are quite a lot of profiles that do and don't ask you to message them with somthing in the subject box

What do people normally write If they have not been asked to put somthing in there

No, I don't know. Depends what's going in the message.

Could be just a 'xx' or a 'Hey' or could be a 'I hate you'. All depends.
