Yes I would. I believe that if we're going to eat meat we should use the whole animal. Therefore if rabbits are used for their meat I can't really see any reason why the fur of those rabbits can't go into making clothes.

I can't agree with animals being bred for fur alone.

No, not due to any ethical reason though. More because I very much doubt there's a garment out there made of fur, that I could pull off in any sort of 'look'.

Costa Blanca Spain...

In this day and age fur farms should really be a thing of the past.

However I don't see anything wrong with wearing the fur/skin of animals that have already been killed for food.

Most people will automatically think leather for that but the one that tends to slip under the radar is Rabbit.

In Spain Rabbit (Conejo) is widely eaten and you can buy whole skinned ones in most supermarkets. It is one of the meats used in many versions of Paella (most Brits think it is chicken BTW)

Rabbits are also eaten in many other European countries.

So the dilemma is: If you have already killed the rabbit then do you chuck the fur into the bin or put it to some use?

No, I believe it always looks better on the animal. You're never going to win 'Who wore it best?'

"No.

Next question.

Do you wear leather ? "

Yes I do, shoe wise. Which I am well aware can be made up of cow, horse, dog & cat skin.

I'm not an ethical warrior, I don't preach to people. I just do my own little thing which is right in my mind. I don't need anything that is made of fur, the same way I can avoid buying certain products that are tested on animals.

It's not logical but it works for me

I think it's about your own ethics / morals.

If you can live with what happens to the creature before you either eat or wear it then crack on. If you're not then you have the choice to either continue or abstein.

I wouldn't knowingly set out to buy something made of snake skin.
