I'm guilty of always buying new ones and chucking them. I also don't recycle, not that I don't believe in it I'm just lazy.

It's ok though as my mum goes through my rubbish and separates it all for me once my bins full.

Good ol' gal.

I very rarely buy the 5p bags, unless I've brought something on the spur of the moment.

I usually have a few of the wipe down durable bags that I use. It did take me a while to remember them and get in the habit of using them.

At least they received some dignity in the end .....

You've got to employ a mind-set that allows you to know you've done all you can ....... It's that best you can do... I give them names .....

You cant become immune too it ......

But you've got to have the belief you've done the right thing....

Shelley and me attended the funeral of a number of orphaned infants who dies of thirst and malnutrition...

The tribe leader presented us with banquet in gratitude for the efforts we made trying to save the children ......

We couldn't eat a thing for days

For £5 I'd want someone to shop for me and carry my shopping home.

They don't last forever and the new 5p bags are so thin and fragile they don't last more than two shopping trips.

My favourite re-usable bags are from Wilkinson's; they have little bees on them.

Cost of transportation, more plastic bags can be condensed into a van/lorry than paper bags.
