Rise to the bait

Do you rise to the bait when people try anything to get a reaction or just carry on as you was not flitting a eyelash?

Personally i used to rise but last few months i dont. Not into these games.

I react differently in the real world to on here.

On here I try to ignore things (easier that way).

In the work world I cant resist if biting if I think something is aimed at me in a negative undeserved way.

Lol in real life I am a hothead so don't piss me off face to face, in here? I just think f*ck you and don't react, took me a few years to get like that but I know it works best and pisses people off more

I used to which is why I've had 2 forum bans in 6 weeks of being here. Imo they do it because they see us as a threat therefore try to get us banned and/or ruin our fab rep. They are still trying to bait me but I just laugh now, minutes later they're baiting someone else

I don't rise to the bait, I rise to the challenge, I respond, rather than react. Knowing the best way to respond is the challenge. Fortunately idiots that try to bait you are always so predictable and easy to suss out/turn the tables on.

Sometimes you have to ignore them, keep smiling and let them stew on knowing they can't get to you. Other times you have to feed/gently poke the troll and let them self destruct.

Occasionally you have to fight fire with fire but that doesn't mean stooping to their level or throwing insults etc, just being standing your ground and showing they are wrong and you aren't a pushover.
