Unhappy at work

This year I got transferred to a new employer at work via TUPE. I have realised after being hear nearly 7 months that the role is not what I expected and the work I am doing is not what I want to do.

I have raised this with direct manager and I was told we can’t see you doing this in 6 months time, we would apreicate if you stick it out. Also have been told we have to cut client work by 2/5s.

Now I am finding that going to work is not fun and the work is not interesting. I want to start looking for a new role however I am mindful that only 7 months on a cv doesn’t look good.

I am wondering should I stick it out till at least a year and then say it’s time to move on, or should I ask to be transferred internally.

Feeling a bit fed up with it all, and feel like I am not being supported

Anyway wondering what people think

hello mate....

i always said to myself that if it got to the point where i was ever dreading going into work... then you know that it is time to move on, which is why i ended up leaving carphone warehouse and a well paid job,

there is nothing to stop you from looking in the meantime, if something comes up that sparks your interest then go for it....

Always easier to find a job when your in a job !

My daughter is slowly working her way up in wages by moving jobs but as she's always employed it doesn't have any fanatical dramas

Go with your heart ? Can you see you doing the job in 20 years ?

If not make the move sooner than later

Good luck
