What are they?

Words or phrases that you misunderstood or that confused you.

I can remember hearing the song twisting the night away by Sam cooke for the 1st time as a child and, the line "dancing with the chicken slacks". My mum didn't know what they were, she wasn't very hip and it wasn't her type of music.

It was a long time before I heard the song and realised he was dancing with a chick in slacks
