Reeding a nother thread got me thinking.

So everyone has Thar own idear of the purfict proposal.........

So How wood you propose to sumone ?

Wood you do it sumwear quiet wen your both alown or wood you do it at a big event and let the world no as well.

If i ever got a partner i wanted to marry im un Shor wether i wood propose in the sun set on the cost and go fall romance

organise a big surprise at a are show with the red arrows with smoke harts in the sky and smoke words in the sky and word banners and fire works on by plans

I've been proposed to twice. The first was totally unromantic but the second, looking back was quite romantic.

It involved him finding something in the sea, me swimming off thinking it was a crab, him shouting at me to come look, me finally swimming over and him revealing a ring. I thought he'd genuinely found it.

But i wouldn't like a big public proposal. Small and quiet, but romantic. Always

My boyfriend-at-the-time proposed in the middle of Canterbury High Street on Valentine's Day; got down on one knee and told me that although he had never believed in marriage up til that point, having me in his life wasn't enough - he wanted me to be his wife, take his name, spend forever with him.

It was beautiful and romantic and I cried. Lots.

"Forever" turned out to be another 5 months. Somehow I was expecting it to last a bit longer, but obviously didn't understand what the word meant.....

Aaaaanyway, that said, my dream proposal would be on Ibiza beach outside Cafe Del Mar, at sunset, standing barefoot on the sand with the sea lapping at my feet, him stood behind me with arms around my waist, and to just whisper the question in my ear.

Never going to happen, but that would be perfection in my eyes.

I don't think it matters a jot. It's the relationship that is the important thing. Too many place too much emphasis on the proposal then the wedding only to be divorced a couple of years later. I've only been proposed to once... Totally unromantic setting (both in bed hungover after a night out) but that was all that was needed. And I wouldn't swap that one time for however many times others have been proposed to and how sweeping a romantic gesture it was.

If I ever meet someone I want to spend the rest of my life with, we'll go on a lovely walk, on a beautiful British beach, perhaps in the Winter, waves crashing, wind howling so we have to snuggle in to each other as we walk.

Then I will propose that we agree never to get married, as I love them far too much to marry them!

Proposals should be personal to you, I'm with phoebe from friends, no cliches, show some imagination.

Do it in a place special to you both with a carefully chosen but not necessarily expensive ring in a genuine sincere way - boom!

Proposed twice, neither was romantic, but the marriages were great, second one still is even if we are rarely in the same country.

My last girl friend I had at 17 I proposed to her.

We went for a walk in the long summer sunset. We were by a lake where the water was almost perfectly still with the Shepard’s delight reflecting off the water.

When we sat on the bench to cuddle and take in the beautiful moment then I popped the question.

Her answer was sorry Jake I never plan on getting married.
