I've just seen a profile posted by a girl who'd had her 18th birthday literally just a couple of days ago - she said she'd been wanting to post on this site for ages and that she was very experienced. Am I being ageist in thinking "too much, too young"?

Was I wrong in telling a guy of 57 who approached me on this site that I thought his "I escort and accomodate an 18 yr old female to watch her have sex with others" was not a quality that I found appealing even if it was at her request?

I really feel there are somethings that just don't feel/sound/seem right even in a sexually liberated lifestyle.

Each to their own but I do hope any vunerable youngsters on here can find a life away from websites and experience the natural joys of growing up and learning life skills

To be honest.. I find no fault... I find it stupid still that you can have sex at 16 but most adult things are limited to 18...

As sex is one of the most grown up things you can do... Reason being can you imagine the numbers of under age pregnancys or people sexually active if thelimit was 18... It would I imagine double at least...

I think she is brave and I've seem many 18 year old lads on here... Yet no one seems to complain about that..

Erm, I don't think so. For a start in case anybody's forgotten, the age of consent in this country is 16, not 18. So; she's had two years to fool around with impunity.

In truth teenagers aren't really that sexually active on average anyway. The main issue is average age of a swinger is much older than 18 and that is what is creating this false dichotomy. For a start, I've been told I've been 'too young' to be swinging and I'm 24. When exactly are you supposed to start?

we all thought we were grown up and different to most of the other teens when we were that age but it isnt the case for the majority

yet was well aware that I could get what I wanted if I smiled sweetly and hinted..

I watch my daughters and think omg.. they are not even got the issues that they have had abuse... and I do worry.. as they are so worldly wise.

I would certainly not be disapointed if I found one of my daughters on here at 18... because to be fair.. I think its a damned site more sensible than going out and pulling random guys..

Also.. young and horny.. of course they are going to find places like this a good idea..

when I started swinging I found that a lot of couples werent interested because I was mid 20s... and looked about younger...yet to be fair I had most likely more filth in my mind than they could have dreamed of...

If I had meet my Master when I was 18.. I would have definately been into things like this..

Both Master and I prefer younger people.. Master loves the under 25s.. and I love that they appreciate him too.. so dont really see a problem..

The thing is there are a hell of a lot of young lads on here.. yet no one seems to suggest they shouldnt be on here.

but still on here is safer than down town on a Friday night... and I have to be honest and say I know a lot of young subs and slaves... that are also into swinging..

I can of course only speak for myself. My "ideal" of bringing up children is that the grow up in a relatively conventional way with a mum and a dad. I realise this is often not the case, nor is it alwyas the right thing for other people and that is why I am saying it is my IDEAL. Now I feel that once people had they children and the children are slightly older it is the ideal time to start swinging if that is what both partners want as a way of keeping their own relationship alive or for whatever reason. I have no problems with other people having different ways - this is just MY ideal world. Does this sound like I am making sense?

So for me the arguement that you should have kids and be settled before swinging doesnt work..

I think - as I am writing this while the process of thinking continues lol... I think the difference is that (for me at least) the swinging scene is not about meet, shag and say cheerio. I tend to "form a relationship" with the peopel I meet and it takes time to make phone calls (you cant do that when you have young or teenage kids around who listen to conversations) and it is more time consuming than say going out for a meal. Like I said, it is just how I swing - other people do it differently.xx

Let’s face it…. a fair few people on this site are here for regular (vanilla) casual sex…. plain ol’ 1-2-1, pretty much like most 18 years olds on facebook, in clubs and pubs, in their social circles. Age does not always bring increased emotional maturity, though does tend to bring a greater fear of taking risks.

Personally, I have no interest in having sex with people old enough to be a parent to me or young enough for me to have squidged them out of my front bottom. It sits uncomfortably with me when people of either gender actively seek out people young enough to be their child to have sex with.

But if an 18 year old wants to find other people of their own age group to have lots and lots of sex with…. GOOD FOR THEM!

Once you are legal there’s no such thing as too much…. as long as no one is getting hurt.

As they get bigger you realise younger was far easier.. As they get older they tend to notice more for a start..

People mature at different rates, some 18yr olds are wise beyond their years just as some others will retain an imaturity that will defy their's.

An 18yr old is an adult in the eyes of the law, but will still be _iewed differently to a much older person on so many things.

I don't have a problem sharing the site with much younger adults, I will quite happily share their company on a social level, but as I'm not really attracted to people of that age group, I wouldn't interact sexually with them.

If I look back to my teenage years and to the time of my sexual awakening I can understand why they would want to experience sex at different levels of intensity without the emotional involvement of being in a relationship.

That said though, I myself wasn't confident or mature enough to have trodden that path.

We can all have an opinion on this, but it's their life, their choice, just as we had ours.

Let them live it their way

I think actually its often the other way around.. and men of any age are human.. and a nice young girl obviously attracted to you at 40 must be nice.

I started swinging 18 months ago. I love it, it brings a sexual freedom for me now ive reached an age where im fairly confident about my body (even though its not a typically great body) and im confident to flirt and be upfront about what kind of sex I want and the things I want to try.

I am glad that I was not into the swinging scene at 18 or indeed very young. I was not emotionally mature to cope with the complexities it entails - we all know its not just about sex but questions jealousies, insecurities.

Swinging is not always this great fantastic lifestyle. If you arent mentally mature enough to deal with certain issues like jealousy, rejection, confidence etc, it can be catastophic.

I am glad that I experienced things that typical 18 year olds experienced - going clubbing with friends, dancing and snogging guys when the smooches came on at the club at the end of the night, swapping phone numbers but then deliberately throwing them away, music, fashion. Im not saying 18 year old swingers and not enjoying this as well, but for me I would have felt way out of my depth in this scene at that age.

I wasnt a very sexual person anyway at that point so swinging wouldnt have interested me, but I certainly wouldnt have wanted couples trying to persuade me to fuck them, pushy guys groping my body and not understanding the word no, mixing with certain deviant personalities, even coming on a site like this, this site isnt full of great, like minded, sensible people, there are freaky gits on here, we know that by the messages we receive.

No maybe its hypocritical but I wouldnt have wanted that at 18.

If however any young person wishes to enter this lifestyle they are an adult and they have a choice. I guess its about exercising that choice.

But Im glad I didnt at 18.
