The proms are a series of concerts that have been held every year for as long as I can remember..

Last night is very famous for being about celebrating what it is to be British.. I used to go every year to last night with my dad.

Tonight its Hooray for Holliwood..

oh and this is getting stupid now..are there really no female horn players in these big orchrestras anymore.. as not seen one once this year..

I miss it.. Next year I am getting a season ticket and indulging my passion for this wonderful spectacle..

and of course seasons tickets get you a last night ticket too

Its actually some of my favourite childhood memories travelling up on the tube with my Dad and Sister... and going..

This year they put on a Comedy Prom for the first time, it was hosted by Tim Minchin, I'll be looking out for it next year as it was really good, but not as good as the last night, but well worth a watch.

I played violin since I was 5... got my grade 8 when I was 11.. but the started to learn the french horn which I prefered... Still play both now.. but still prefer the french horn..

to be fair I have yet to find an instrument that I can not learn quickly.. but I love music..

Quite often have a private box on the second tier one level above and 1 box to the left of the Royal vox. Was at the Spaghetti western Orchestra evening on 12 August, let me know if you'd like to share an evening
