With a status like that, who would be suprised at your lack of success ....

Unlike you, we have other things to occupy our weekend, swinging being at the very bottom of our list of 'important things to do' but if swinging is the be all and end all of your otherwise wasted life - c'est la vie !

Sorry you have 'wasted' your weekend on us 'wasters' - if it's so bad maybe you need to try a different site

We often spend time sorting out events that then we get let down for... Does it ruin our time... Hell no... As its about our mutual fun... So we just go have fun together...

Or there is always a good club.

Well I'm black and have an Asian wife, am allergic to hot tubs and I'm part of Sydney University so I think that's why I was ruled out

You should try being in London! For a year we've done that! As a couple we had couples fail to show, turn up and decide to leave, turn up and start then leave ...

Guys rarely turn up at all. As a single, I've had great success with many couples, great success with single girls, and only 3 out of god knows how many men have every turned up. one was great, the rest ... *sigh* men are good at making promises but 1 in 100 will ever deliver anything.

Sorry you had a bad weekend. I've been on a mission for an experience for 2 weeks now. It doesn't matter how many you say 'lets meet' to, when it becomes real, they all too often fade away at the 11th hour.

If I was closer I'd have happily joined you .. if I had the means of travel I'd have joined you

Have you tried meeting couples through the chatroom? Put an advert out under 'let's meet up'? How much notice are you giving people on your invites? A lot of couple need to organise sitters so need quite a bit of warning.

i rarely get weekends and hv done the same no replys to meets wanted. ive never been to a club as i dont drive.

if i get weekends free now i do other stuff. if i get offered a meet its a bonus.

back to normality now daughters back home and school starts tomoz

I would suggest trying out a club, rather than relying on meeting up on here. I think only a few members actually met up with others on here, as is there choice.

some members use it only for the chat, some are just picture collectors, some just use it to fantasise.

Life is too short to get stressed about lack of interest on here.

I get that it may of been Certain members on the site and keeping within the site rules they of course cant be specific and name who leaft them rather peeved by it all,therefore saying "the site and certain people this weekend have leaft them wondering,we all have been here long enough to know that happens.To opt to take it personally if they have never ever been in touch with, messaged, dealt with you and you decide that "the site" and because your on it,is a rubbishing of you specifically does seem bizzare.

we were peeved by the amount of people who read messages sent to them and dont have the cortesy to send a reply, a no thank would be a start. we do try to answer all messages sent to us.

the SITE is good it is just some people spoil it.

respect certainly does earn respect... but I think what people are also saying is that negativity also breeds negativity...

if you see a shop window and the tone of it was down.. would you buy in it???

as for the courtesy to reply arguement... do you answer every single piece of mail that comes thru your door.. and by that i mean every piece of junk mail and you reply "no thank you"...

no... really... whats the difference?

Having looked at your profile, you could look at redesigning it.

Put simply, for every single profile on here, for everyone, you're having to "sell" yourself.

So someone new _iews your Profile for the first time, and what do their eyes see from the onset?

A RANT, and all the negativity going! After you have vented your spleen, then you get onto the "good stuff". But by then it is too late; you have put potential people off considering you.

Change your layout, so that it reads with all the good stuff right from the start. That way, you draw people in, you sell yourselves positively.

By all means, you can retain the negative aspects if you want, but they should be at the end of your Profile and you could tone it down too at the same time. Every little helps! (sorry Tesco!)

totally agree with REDHOT.

Negative tag lines about the site and it's users simply make other users feel ill at ease with the negative profile owner.

The O.P. was airing their disappointment with their results. It's great that they have and even better that people are offering advice.

All responses should be allowed without criticism. I believe that if you put up a thread then you are inviting comment. If thread starters only want a particular type of response they should say so.

I read profiles carefully and consider what they are actually saying and whether I fit the bill before responding.

To reply to this particular request I would have to be.

1. White

2. A couple

3. Both straight

4. Between the ages of 29 and 45 (15yr differential)

5.Average body build

5 Friday Availability

6. Willing to socialise first and willing for it not to go further

7. 'Nice' ?

8. Non Smokers

9. In range of Midlands

10. Willing to go to O.P's home

Pretty tall order

What % of the fab demographic satisfy all that ?

I don't blame the O.P. for their disappointment.

It's pretty refreshing for it not to be a poor single bloke asking why he isn't being dragged backwards by his hair by some sex crazed Amazon as he has been a member for half an hour and feels like he's on the shelf
