"Nope, gone from a few tears to full on bawling now I've lost 2 cats in the last 5 years. It's really hard but as the passage says - To have loved and then said farewell is better than to have never loved at all. *Her* (who really needs to toughen up a bit!)" No, its natural, theres many a blokey bloke who has been reduced to crying his eyes out like a bairn at the sudden realisation his bestest pal has gone. I did it when i realised my dog as ever loyaly waited till dad got home before he went, that bit still triggers me off. xx

" I cried as I buried "my little mate" Tinker when he died aged 22. He`d always been a "bit of a lad" and seemed never to be afraid of taking on other cats despite his smaller size for a tomcat. Yet when a homeless lady cat arrived on the scene, he positively encouraged us to feed her and stood guard while she ate.

"Our cat, Tinkerbell became ill and we had to have her put down. Broke my heart and we both cried as did our grown up children. There is not a day when I don't get a "glimpse" of her walking into another room. Probably more hope than fact, but she was my cat!"
