What would you do if you won 5 million on the lottery

As per the title, assuming you gave up work what would you do to fill your time.

I would open my own dog rescue centre and adopt all the old dogs people don't want to have and look after them until they pass away. They deserve a fulfilling life as much as any other dog or person for that matter. Upsets me that a lot of dogs get put down as they are old or too costly to care for.

If only I did the lottery

But if I did

It's far to much money

I would share it out to family and give to charities and pay off my mortgage and all the bills

i'd buy a tiny flat in the West End, and another one in chicago and spend the rest of my days doing all the things i never have time to do, go to all the movies and exhibitions i'd like, flitting from here to chicago every few weeks..

Move to the country to a place with land and outbuildings, a lake and no neighbours. I would build myself a workshop and spend my time restoring cars and motorbikes, woodworking and making/creating stuff and maybe a token effort at small holding.

Travel to the places I've always wanted to see with the people that I care about then probably build a recording studio and record label for local talent.

5 million is a fair amount. But you could soon spend it. A house here, then one abroad with the upkeep.

Personally I'd give half to setting up a school/ academy in a poor part of the world. Particularly in certain parts of the world like Africa where kids still have to travel many miles etc. But I'd do it myself, project manage etc to make sure every single penny benefits the kids and not lost in charity admin/ salaries etc

Put it towards funding safe water wells in Africa and the financing of an MSF travelling hospital.... I'd also like to build and fund a school for orphaned children in a village where we've already helped create a thriving community but which still lacks a school and the orphanage that is there is overcrowded so it would be nice to build them a bigger and more secure facility ,,,,,,

I'd go into hiding!! I'd never tell anyone about my win and I'd live a modest life.

I'd set my eldest up in business so she could earn her own money.

I'd get the best education for my youngest as he has learning difficulties.

I'd set myself up in business (not sure what tho) as I would get bored doing bugger all all day.

Leave this country immediately!

Ending up somewhere secluded ,surrounded by lots of trees. And log cabin near by. Giving me plenty of time to think about who I will share my wealth with
