Looking for a job a teenager could do from home, stuffing envelopes etc etc. Anybody know kids doing similar things & could put us on the right track? Thanks.

"Does it have to be from Home?"

Yes ideally unless you can come up with a job that doesn’t involve working with other people!

Hillside desolate

Do they have any skills, painting, drawing, writing, that kind of thing?

Or you can bulk buy job lots on eBay and sell the individual items to make a profit.

Or maybe odd jobs around the local neighbourhood, cleaning cars, driveways etc?

hoorn, Netherlands

I'm curious as to why they can't work with other people. In the job side, if you get good at Photoshop it's possible to find freelance work online.

Central

Envelope stuffing was a scam scheme.

Could you print some leaflets, getting them to deliver to homes nearby?

Odd jobs, like garden tidying, leaf clearing up - preferably unskilled jobs, not needing supervision.

Teenager stays close to home. Car washing is another simple job.

Why can't people with autism work with other people?

There are many different types of autism on the autistic spectrum. Some autistic people would find it very challenging to be in a workplace. Many have poor communication, as in little or no language. Most are very intelligent though. XXX

Autism can manifest and affect people in many different ways and to varying degrees. I don`t think OP is implying that all people with autism cannot work with others, just that this is the situation they find themselves in.

Actual jobs/employment working from home is very rare. Most you will see advertised are dubious.

The only real options are making things to sell, buying things to sell or offering some sort of service on a self employed type basis. Friends of mine do cake baking, making personalized gifts like nappy cakes, wooden garden ornaments/planters or do things like computer repairs/web design.

Are there any interests/hobbies that can be turned into a business?

£10. £15 if he does the roof and inside the doors too.
